Position: Business Development Manager Work With Farmers
Location: Narayanpet district, Telangana
Salary: 35k to 45k
Brief Responsibilities Business Development Manager
Work with farmers & farmer groups including Train farmers / FPO members for quality agriculture production.
Approach various companies for the marketing of agricultural produce, and identify potential buyers.
Supervise processing units, develop brands, and market the processed items.
Preparation of business plan and approach banks for loans.
Wherever require liaison with Agriculture departments, universities, and other stakeholders for obtaining licenses.
Visiting various departments, and stores for possible market linkage
Organizing farmer groups into FPOs, training, and awareness generation.
Train FPO BODs on quality crop production, segregation, and packing.
Ensure business turnover of FPOs at least 2-3 crores per FPO.
FPO: Farmer Producer Organizations
Linking FPOs to local Government departments for any assistance available concerning to storage, warehousing, and inputs.
Registration and follow-up of farmer groups.
The interested candidates should work with farmer communities in the villages, and need to stay nearby project villages of Narayanpet district, Telangana.
